A Bump in the Road Less Traveled

PictureA picture from John and Tim's Alaska trip, Summer '13
Sometimes we all need a reminder to look for the signs and not to take life too seriously. This story is told by John Mink, a true life character you'll read much more about in Timothy Kurek's upcoming book (TBA this Summer). John and Tim lived together in a rooming house in Portland, and the two quickly bonded in the home they called The Trumbull Manor (a 5,700 square foot, four story shack of a mansion located in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland). We not only hope you enjoy this story, but we encourage you to ask yourself if you are really looking for all of the signs, and if you see them, to ask yourself if you are brave enough to go where they point you.
