This summer, internationally renowned author Timothy Kurek will embark on a 500-mile pilgrimage across Northern Spain, the Camino del Norte, exploring the culture of one of Europe’s oldest indigenous peoples, the Euskaldunak (Basques), and highlighting the history of one of Earth's most famous pilgrimages.
Produced by Developing America and sponsored by the Center for Global Christian Studies, Tim will walk the earliest (though lesser known) Camino route through the original resting place of St. James, engaging with locals and fellow pilgrims, and asking the questions, "How does the concept of home inform our identities, and why would anyone choose to walk 500 miles across the span of an entire country?
